ICEG European Center cordially invites you to attend the Perspectives of Innovation Policy in Europe (PIPE) conference on 31 May 2011 in Budapest, Hungary.

The purpose of the conference is to broaden the dissemination of innovation policy-related theoretical and empirical results by providing a forum for prominent domestic and international innovation policy experts to exchange their knowledge and to discuss arising questions.

Major subjects:

• the role of innovation policy in time of conjuncture and de-conjuncture;
• the necessity of service sector innovation policy;
• support measures for high-growth SMEs (gazelles) in fostering their innovation activities;
• main challenges for public sector innovation.
